Automatic Frequency Agility (AFA)

As it is based on "AFA" technology, (Adaptive Frequency Agility), it avoids manual frequencies changes. The radio remote control continuously searches and selects the less impeded channel among the available ones.

DSC function

The DSC function (Dynamic Speed Control) executes speed corrections in real time (in "slow" mode), thus allowing the operator to better master the micromotions caused by the characteristics of the relevant loads on the machine.

R.T.A.S. radio calibration

The response behaviour of the single joysticks may be calibrated directly via radio, thus customising the speed of all crane motions (access protected by PIN code).

Event log

IMET radio remote controls memorize all events that may have led to failures or unexpected stops, as well as the device operating hours.

PIN Code: Always in safe hands

The new IMET range of radio remote controls allows you to set a customizable safety PIN code, so that the device can only be used by authorized personnel. This is yet another proof of how IMET designs and develops its products with extreme attention to details.

STOP button: safety is always paramount

The new self-locking button with double reset system ensures maximum safety, in accordance with the European and international safety standards, as well as an uncomparable ease of use. While it is perfectly protected against unintentional collisions, the STOP button is easily accessible and can be quickly operated with priority.

IMET single-axis joysticks: powerful and accurate

This unique product brings together accuracy and comfort. It was tested for 15,000,000 operations and offers an incline angle of +/-40° - and these are just some of the great features of this incredible product designed and developed by IMET based on the "OPTICAL SENSE" technology.

Selection and motion controls: maximum comfort at work

IMET presents a wide range of selectors, buttons, switches and potentiometers that can meet every possible demand in terms of customisation. These components are extremely handy and suitable for long work shifts, even for operators wearing gloves.

Status LEDs: A little big help

All transmitting units of IMET radio remote controls are equipped with LED lights that signal operating status, battery level and fault messages.

Ergonomic belt and clip

The convenient belt attachment allows the operator to have their hands completely free, and hence manage easily the loading and unloading operations on the crane.

Ergonomics: functionality goes hand in hand with design

We pay utmost attention to details in order to provide ergonomic and functional products. This leads to small-size, lightweight transmitting units that ensure greater freedom of movement and are comfortable and secure to handle, even in case of long working sessions.

Materials: No environment is too harsh

IMET radio remote control housings are made of synthetic compounds that are compliant with the RoHS standard and able to ensure maximum performance in terms of robustness, mechanical and thermal stability (with operating temperatures from -25°C to +55°C), as well as resistance to aggressive chemicals exposure. Moreover, these materials are free from hazardous substances, fully recyclable and hence, environmentally friendly.

New removable and rechargeable NiMH batteries: more energy, no pollution

Up to 22 hours of continuous operation! Compared with the previous batteries, the new NiMH generation ensures more autonomy and a negligible memory effect. The transmitter is equipped with an easily accessible battery slot that enables its fast replacement while ensuring a perfect sealing against liquids. Gold-plated contacts guarantee a long-term, stable electrical connection.

Control panel: we turn your ideas into reality

Using the advance technology of digital print, IMET is now able to customise markings according to your needs. For more complex configurations, multi-colour solutions allow the operator to identify quickly the various control units, thereby preventing errors or inadvertent activations.

Additional optionals

Serial cable

For systems used in environments where radio frequency is not allowed or in emergency situations where batteries are not available. By means of a cable connection between transmitter and receiver, the transmission via radio is temporarily excluded and the transmitter is fed directly from the receiver unit.

Kapta

KAPTA allows the operator to make unlimited and rapid pairings between transmitting and receiving units, without the need of opening the devices. It always ensures exclusive control of the machine to a single operator.

Multi receiving and/or multi transmitting optional

MTRS allows a transmitter to communicate simultaneously with multiple receivers, also with data-feedback, and to pass the exclusive control of a receiver to other transmitters through a secure Lock and Unlock procedure.

RTAS Real Time Analog Setup

RTAS is a technology that allows the calibration of proportional outputs directly from the transmitting unit. Following the relevant procedure, which is protected by an access code, it is possible to vary the minimum and the maximum limits for each movement of the machine.

DSC Dynamic Speed Control

Precision and safety in movements are fundamental in the performance of the job. The DSC feature allows to vary in real-time and in a continuous way, the speed of the machine movements, until obtaining the desired accuracy.
